Harvest Wine Celebration Day 1
There was a BIG turnout for the Harvest Wine Celebration in the Livermore Valley today, if the crowds at Garré Vineyard and Winery were any indication! Folks at Garré enjoyed the great food and the music of Sinister Blue (“Blues with an Attitude”). Sadly, the band had to cope with a circuit breaker that kept blowing. The music itself was everything that I remember from their performance there last year! (That is, JUST GREAT…!)
Executive Chef Ty and his crew fed the masses with a great selection, that I also talked about earlier. I personally sampled the jerk chicken skewers and the BarBQ oysters. Yum!
I personally want to thank (again) all of the people who stopped by the Cheshire Cat Photo booth, and ESPECIALLY those of you who made purchases! 
I talked to folks from Dallas, TX, Pescadero, Fremont, Hayward, and a veteran phototographer from Fairfax. And here is a special thank-you to the woman who poured me some Syrah…! (We vendors are often totally dependent upon the generosity of our customers and our hosts. )
Remember that we also have 15 larger photographs in the “Images of the American West” exhibition along with Walter Davies, at the Bankhead Theater in Livermore, held over through September 12.
It looked as though everyone had a wonderful time. The temperatures did not approach the extremes that we can see in Livermore, and we had our usual late-afternoon wind.
