Hey! Stop! … Hammer time!
Venerable rapper, MC Hammer (real name Stanley Burrell) rolled out a new search engine called Wiredoo at the Web 2.0 Summit in San Francisco.
Hammer says that Wiredoo, two years in development, will be a better search tool than Google because of its “deep search” ability. According to Mashable:
“The rapper and entrepreneur didn’t reveal much more about the search engine, beyond that it can bring up related topics to a search query in multiple verticals, including finance.”
Hammer said that Google and other search engines are not as strong at connecting keywords to related topics, which he described as relationship searching. Wiredoo’s tagline is “Search once and see what’s related.”
Wiredoo is still in pre-beta, but you can sign up to test the search engine when a beta version is ready!
