The Geezer Bandit strikes again!
The Geezer Bandit, who is estimated to be between 60 and 70 years old, robbed his 10th bank (in a year!) in San Diego County today, according to the FBI.
I wrote about the Geezer Bandit in mid-May, as a man who demonstrates a possible career path for high-tech workers who were laid off in their mid-50s. There seems to be no age discrimination in the equal-opportunity field of bank robbery. 
Well, he’s at it again. Today, the Geezer Bandit robbed the U.S. Bank branch inside the Albertson’s store in Poway. He pointed a small-caliber revolver at a teller and threatened to use it. He took an undisclosed amount of money from the robbery.
The LA Times online article has a digital video snapshot of the Geezer Bandit that was taken by a security camera in the bank. No, the security camera did not prevent the crime.
