Today, Exxon Mobil Corporation set a quarterly profit record for a U.S. company, once again. The company’s third-quarter net profit was $14.93 billion (USD) up from $9.41 billion a year ago. The company’s prior record profit was $11.68 billion, last quarter, the second quarter of 2008.
