The Maltese Falcon

Not the novel, not the film, the sailing yacht this time…

CNET reports that the Maltese Falcon, owned by venture capitalist Tom Perkins and reputedly the world’s fastest and largest sailing yacht, has been docked at pier 35 in San Francisco for several days.

CNET provides a slideshow of the yacht (88 meters [289.1 feet] long with 57-m [187-ft] masts), which was built in Turkey and possesses advanced hydraulic features.

You never know what you may see next in the Bay Area!
