Steve Jobs delivers keynote
You can read the high-level summary of the music-themed Apple event today at CNN or dig down into details at the Apple site.
As for me, I’ll do it the way I always do, ESPECIALLY when Steve Jobs gives the keynote. I will watch the QuickTime presentation of the keynote when it is available. (Then I will do all of the drilling down.) Steve Jobs is many things – including one of the best presenters in the business. I watch Steve to learn how practice can polish a delivery.
I have been on an assignment today, so I have not mentally grappled with the new products and services announced today. (I DID see that the iPod nano has added a video camera!)
For me, and maybe for a lot of other people, the fact that Steve Jobs gave the keynote is “the main event.”
I, for one, am very glad to see that Steve delivered the keynote, and I wish him continued health and well-being, and Apple, continued success.
(Note added September 20, 2009: I got an opportunity to watch the Keynote last week. I will not tell you about the musical guest at the end. I WILL tell you about the standing ovation that would not go away, for Steve Jobs, at the beginning.)
