Mac growth up in May; PCs, so so.

According to a CNET blog, Morgan Stanley analyst Kathryn Huberty says Apple is outperforming the PC market in sales growth. This growth occurred EVEN BEFORE Apple released new MacBook Pros in June.

I noticed a predominance of Mac OS X users hitting my Web site, but I attributed it to an intelligent and discerning (Note added July 7, 2009: Make that “picky.” :-) ) audience!

Huberty said that Apple shipments were up 25% in May, over April. PC shipments were up only 1% for the same period.

Nielsen’s report on the most trafficked hardware Web sites, released on Tuesday, showed Apple at the top with more than double the traffic of its nearest competitor, Hewlett-Packard.

You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people, some of the time, but….
