Sand Art in San Diego!

Sailing San Diego, California

This Labor Day Weekend, the U.S. Sand Sculpting Challenge returns to San Diego for its third year! Over 300 tons of sand will morph into people, abstract fantasies, creatures, and entire cities at the hands of World Master Sand Sculptors from around the world! There is even a category for students! The competition is billed as a three-dimensional art exposition, and there will also be kids’ activities, vendors, as well as musicians, dancers, storytellers, and magicians!

Sounds like a party! Check out some of the creations from past exposition HERE!

The event will be held from August 29 through September 1, from 9 am – 7 pm (10 pm on Saturday) and cost $7 – $18. The location will be B Street Cruise Ship Terminal Pier, 1140 N. Harbor Drive, San Diego.
