Tomorrow (today in some places in the world) is April 1, the day that Conficker.c is scheduled to “phone home” (phone a lot of places, actually).
What will happen on April 1? Nobody (except the makers of Conficker.c) knows for sure. The worm keeps Window from conducting automatic updates that could prevent the worm from causing damage.
Microsoft released a statement that the company “is actively working with the industry to mitigate the spread of the worm.”
Me too! I use Macintosh.
