…what confused the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) was the fact that the MacBook Air in question had no hard drive! Of course, being security folks, they didn’t even believe a younger TSA staffer who RECOGNIZED the MacBook Air!
The original blog entry is entitled “Steve Jobs Made Me Miss My Flight.” Check out the CNET article, which also lists some products that look dangerous but are safe and cuddly, and one (the Hell Kitten) that looks safe and cuddly but could be dangerous in the hands of untrained, sensational California news media folks.
Also at CNET today is an article about Microsoft researchers developing photo tools that they say can turn bad photos into good photos with a few clicks of the mouse. Didn’t they say something similar about security?
