At the San Francisco Zoo, there is at least one (intelligent?) primate species that is not interested in making itself extinct and taking thousands of other species with it! Even better, a member of this critically endangered primate species, the western lowland gorilla, gave birth on December 8 to a healthy male baby (the first gorilla birth in a decade at the zoo), and baby photos and videos are on the Web! Even better still, you can subscribe, with iTunes, to have “Behind the Scenes” – the San Francisco Zoo podcast delivered to you “automagically!”
