Stolen content

Stolen content has become a greater and greater problem on the web, for photographers and for producers of a variety of other types of content. The North American Nature Photography Association (NANPA) has published articles in their “Currents” on the topic.

Awhile ago, I found an excellent series of three articles from 2006 by Lorelle VanFossen on the topic. The first article deals with actions to take when someone steals your content. The second deals with finding stolen content and copyright infringement. The third article discusses growing trends in content theft.

Check out these articles. They offer excellent advice and point to additional resources.
