Dilbert for President
Early in January 2008, I wrote a blog entry about Scott Adams, a California Original and the creator of Dilbert, who (Scott, not Dilbert) lives in the next town to the west of me. I do not know Scott personally, but I feel a connection because the company at which he worked when he started to write Dilbert was one of my corporate customers, at one of my earlier jobs (I never had a “career;” maybe nobody does!). 
Scott performed another (beside Dilbert) service to humankind recently – he commissioned a survey of over 500 economists, a subset of the American Economic Association (a nonpolitical group) to see what they think about the economic plans of Mr. McCain and Mr. Obama.
The results are interesting and occasionally surprising, and are certainly worth a read. Scott also presents a bit about the backgrounds (in aggregate) of the economists who were polled.
