I wanted to share this link, which provides detailed statistics on larger cities (and MORE links to mid-sized and smaller towns and villages) in California, for people who are thinking of moving here, relocating, or just visiting. I know that you can buy little books with such information, but FREE just seems better to me, somehow. 
At the bottom of the list is a way to search for the value of homes near a particular address, as well as an archive of a forum about California.
