New iPhone 3G S smartphones, that is…. In 3 days…!

“Customers are voting and the iPhone is winning,” said Steve Jobs, in his first public comment since going on medical leave. “With over 50,000 applications available from Apple’s revolutionary App Store, iPhone momentum is stronger than ever.”

The other good news for Apple is that 6 million people have downloaded the new iPhone OS 3.0 update in the 5 days since its release.

Steve Jobs, who reportedly underwent a liver transplant about 2 months ago, is expected to return to Apple later this month.
