People who live in glass houses…

I picked up a design magazine today from 2006 with a feature article on the Philip Johnson Glass House (1949) in New Canaan, CT. Regular tours of the Glass House are already sold out for 2008, according to the Web site link above, but Private or Patron tours are still available.

If you are not familiar with the Glass House, please visit the links above. The slide show of photos of the Glass House and some of the other 14 structures on the 47-acre site is truly wonderful. Today, I was thinking about the inspirational effect of architecture on my own thought processes, and chanced upon another article concerned with inspirational architecture for scientific research institutes. Science, engineering, art, and architecture are not as far apart as some folks believe. A lot of creative folks see that they are different manifestations of the same thing.

See whether the two links above do anything for *you*!
