Book’em Danno!

(explanation)

Police in Sacramento have arrested two men on charges related to the theft of a bicycle from seven-time Tour de France champion, Lance Armstrong.

A 39-year-old, Lee Crider, was arrested on suspicion of stealing the Trek Livestrong 1274 and two other bikes belonging to members of Armstrong’s Team Astana, from the back of a rental truck in Sacramento. The team was in Sacramento in February for Stage 1 of the Tour of California.

Crider is suspected of selling Armstrong’s time-trial bike to 34-year-old, Dung Le, who turned it in to police four days after it was stolen. Le was arrested on suspicion of possessing stolen property.

The two bikes belonging to Armstrong’s team members were not recovered.
