“Fresh Works” exhibit at the Harrington Gallery, May 30 – June 30
The 2nd Annual Open Juried Art Exhibit, “Fresh Works,” which features 88 artworks in all media by 59 Bay Area artists, will open tomorrow, May 30 and run through June 30 at the Harrington Gallery, Firehouse Arts Center, 4444 Railroad Avenue, Pleasanton, California (Phone: 925-931-4849). One of my images, “Merced River, Winter” (above), as a 36″ x 24″ print on canvas, was selected for the show. The photograph was taken in January in Yosemite Valley.
Gallery Hours at the Harrington are Wednesday through Friday, 12:00 noon to 5:00 PM, Saturday 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM. The Gallery is also open one hour prior to theater events and during intermission. An Artist’s Reception and awards ceremony, open to the public, will be held on Saturday, June 2 from 1:00 to 3:00 PM. Light refreshments will be served, and donations are appreciated.
