(New) Folsom Prison Blues

On Thursday at around 1:30 A.M., Marvin Lane Ussery, 48, was detected on thermal imaging cameras trying to break INTO New Folsom State Prison, an institution from which he was freed on parole two years ago! Officers found him hiding in tall weeds. Reportedly, Ussery told prison guards and deputies that he returned because he was “reminiscing.”
According to officials, parolees often try to smuggle contraband, like cell phones, which can be sold for hundreds or thousands of dollars on the inside.
Ussery was booked into the Sacramento County Jail and charged with “being a felon on prison grounds.” 
(How could THAT happen? )
So far, officials have NOT found any contraband carried by Ussery, who served three sentences at the prison.
Maybe he was just “reminiscing.”
