The Geezer Bandit: In Morro Bay!

As you remember from our last exciting episode, in Goleta California, the Geezer Bandit has been moving around a bit lately. On Friday afternoon, the Geezer Bandit struck in Morro Bay, according to the FBI on Saturday. It was his 14th bank robbery since August 2009.

And then, of course, the “eternal” question, “Is the Geezer Bandit really 60 to 70 years old?” as described by witnesses, or is he wearing an exceptionally good theatrical (special effects) mask and gloves…?

In Morro Bay, the bandit used a revolver to rob the Heritage Oaks Bank on Friday afternoon. He may have left the area in a light-colored, two-door car.

The Geezer Bandit is suspected (surveillance cameras make for REALLY STRONG “suspicions!” :-) ) of robbing 10 banks in San Diego County and ONE EACH in Temecula, Bakersfield, Goleta, and Morro Bay.

There is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the Geezer Bandit.
