Art and History Fair at Carnegie Park Saturday
There is an Art and History Fair from 10-4 at Carnegie Park in Livermore, California, to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the Carnegie Building, which was founded in 1911 by Andrew Carnegie as a library and which houses the Livermore Art Association (LAA) Gallery and a museum of Livermore history by the Livermore Heritage Guild (LHG). Since artists from the LAA will be there, of course Cheshire Cat Photo and William Hackett will be there, too!

Art & History Fair this Saturday, May 14, at Carnegie Park
Don’t forget, this Saturday is the 100th anniversary of the historic Carnegie Library. The Livermore Heritage Guild (LHG) is throwing a celebration, and everyone is invited! LHG will have displays up around the park, showing what life was like in Livermore 100 years ago. They are bringing out the old fire trucks and many are dressing in historical costumes. Artists will also have booths around the park, since LAA shares the building with LHG. The event is from 10-4 and is very family-oriented. I’ve seen some of the displays that the Guild is putting together, and they are interesting. Kids would love it.
