Osama bin Laden is dead
President Barack Obama is expected to make the announcement from the White House late Sunday night, according to the source.
According to CNN News, they have received confirmation of the report.
The President’s announcement is now scheduled to be made at 11:10 or 11:15 PM Eastern Time.

Update: Osama bin Laden was killed with some members of his family in a mansion outside Islamabad, Pakistan, according to CNN.
8:35 PM Pacific – President Barack Obama has confirmed that Osama bin Laden has been killed.
According to President Obama’s statement, Osama bin Laden was killed in Abbottãbad, Pakistan (Google Map), with no Americans harmed, and the U.S. has taken custody of the body.
9:20 PM Pacific – CNN has reported that the raid in Abbottãbad involved a helicopter raid from Afganistan with Navy Seals upon a highly secured compound with 12-18-foot walls topped with barbed wire. CNN also reported that the compound did not have telephone or Internet service. 
The team spent 40 minutes inside the compound. In addition to bin Laden, two couriers and a son of Osama bin Laden, as well as a woman who was used as a human shield by the men, were also killed.
ABC reported “Sources said the attack was carried out by Joint Special Operations Command forces working with the CIA.”
