Mozilla strikes back: Firefox 4 Sync to Android

CNET’s Seth Rosenblatt presents a VERY useful video about the new Sync feature in Firefox 4, a Firefox release that DOUBLED the 24-hour download tally racked up by Internet Explorer 9. :-)

Who says people never learn? :-) (Note added March 26, 2011: Corporations, on the other hand…. :-) )

As Rosenblatt describes in the video, Firefox 4 (PC, Mac, and Linux) will sync bookmarks, passwords, preferences, history, and tabs NOT ONLY across multiple computers, BUT ALSO with Android and Maemo phones and tablets!

Sure, I’m running Firefox 4 on Mac, and Safari, too, at the same time for slightly different purposes and to “share the load.”

And as a former Netscape employee, I am delighted at Firefox’s success….

(Note added March 29, 2011: Firefox for Android has reached “full” status.)
