Over 1 million sold…
In reaching the million mark, iPad eclipsed the initial sales of iPhone, which took 74 days to reach 1 million sold.
Demand for the iPad exceeds supply, according to Steve Jobs in a press release.
No, I do not own an iPad, yet. The reasons are cost and features. I DO believe that iPad represents “game-changing” technology.
I am delighted, however, that the technology has received such early, broad acceptance. Selling iPads is one of Apple’s businesses, and all of the creativity and imagination of customers and developers alike would not have amounted to much if the devices had not sold.
Looks like we won’t have to worry about THAT particular problem…. 
It is uplifting to me to realize that there are so many creative and imaginative folks out there!
