California: so many beach towns, so little time!
SFGate.com has listed, along with photographs, 15 “under the radar” beach towns of California! The GOOD news is that we have visited a LOT of them! (For example, Avila Beach [my image above]) The GREAT news is that there are some we have yet to visit! 
The article (correctly) points out that: “We’re coming up on California’s real summer, so what better time to explore some uncharted coastal territory?” I have been telling people for YEARS that October is a wonderful beach month in California.
